Olympics of Stamping Challenge

I created this card for the Olympics of Stamping challenge on the MoxieFab blog.  I stamped the whole card with the Hero Arts Cling Flourish background stamp. I also used the Hero Arts winged butterfly stamp and stamped it on Basic Grey paper, then used Glossy Accents to make it shine. The butterfly is popped up from the card to give it some dimension.

Bold Flowers....

I created this card for the February Hero Arts challenge on their blog.  I stamped the antique brocade using the pool shadow ink on pool paper for a very subtle background. I also used Glossy Accents on circles in the flower to give it a bit of shine in spots. Thanks for dropping by.

supplies: Hero Arts stamps: antique brocade, Big Flowers pattern, Handwritten for You, Basic Grey paper, fiskars punch, Glossy Accents, Sandylion Essentials stickers embellishment.

Snow Fun!

I created this scrapbook page of my niece and nephew. They were having some "snow fun" on their snowmobile. It's been snowing again this week. I'm just hoping for an early spring.  I used my Slice to cut out the snowflakes. Thanks for dropping by.

Another wedding card....

Ok, so I was over ambitious and made two wedding cards for the Caardvarks challenge.  I love the weekends!  More time for cardmaking!  Black and white are very popular wedding colors right now in this part of the US, so I made my card using those colors.  It's hard to see, you have to look closely, but I embossed the flower in white on white paper.  The white piece at the bottom is also embossed in white. I used all Hero Arts stamps and I used black Zing embossing powder on the black card.  Thanks for looking!

supplies: All Hero Arts stamps, American Crafts ribbon, Basic Grey paper, Paper Studio pearls, Hero Arts button, Zing embossing powder.

Red Poppies....

I made this card for my sweet friend Virginia's challenge. There are already so many amazing entries and I wanted to play along too.  I stamped the Hero Arts poppy cling stamp with versa mark on Basic Grey red paper and then embossed with white. I then shaded the flowers with colored pencils. I also tried to add some shading on the white.

We're back from our trip and I thought I would post a quick card. I made this some time before we left, but I never posted it. It was a really quick "thank you" card. Thanks for dropping by.
