Lily Pad Star Challenge

I made this card for the Lily Pad Simon Says Stamp Star Challenge.  I used the Star nestabilities die cuts to cut a big star in the middle of the background and then added some Amy Tangerine patterned paper behind it. I also used the Hero Arts newspaper background stamp and I used a very old Hero Arts stamp for the greeting. I finished it off with some twine.

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you're having a great week!

Moxie Fab Gingham Challenge & ABNH Challenge #4

I'm submitting this card for the Gingham challenge at the Moxie Fab World and also for the Dust 'Em Off challenge at A Blog Named Hero. This girl stamp is an older Hero Arts stamp and I paired it with some newer stamps (the balloons). I colored her with Copic markers and then paper pieced her dress, the flowers in her hair and her garden boots. I added twine for the balloon strings. Don't you love her gingham cat in the gingham grass too?  :)

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope you get a chance to play along with the challenge too.

Happy Mother's Day

Short post today. This is the card I made for my Mom for Mother's Day. I love this Hero Arts heart stamp and the frame cut that goes with it. My Mom is an awesome Mom! Probably the best in the world!  Ha! Enough said. :)

Hope all you moms out there had a great Mother's Day!

My 1st Card Tutorial

I've been teaching myself to use iMovie and I filmed this tutorial a few weeks ago. I finally had a chance to add the voice over and post it to You Tube. This is my first card tutorial and I know I still have a lot to learn.  I've already learned that my voice is not great for tutorials. ha! I'd love to hear what you think of this first video. Here is the direct link to You Tube.

Thanks for dropping by. I appreciate it! Oh and Happy National Scrapbooking Day!
