Birthday Balloons

Hello! I made this card a while ago and have finally remembered to post it here. It's a very simple card using one of the Hero Arts Stamp and Cut sets. I love those sets!

We are back from Florida, and I have to go back to work tomorrow. Other than that, not much else to report today. :)  Hope this week is a good one for you!

More Hero Arts 2013 Stamps

Hello! I did a little surgery on one of the new 2013 Hero Arts stamped images (it's called Birthday Delivery stamp). I cut off the Happy Birthday box and added a "Thanks" box instead. I also used one of my all time favorite stamps, Radiant Banner for the background with Butter Bar mid-tone shadow ink. I used Copics to color in the truck.  I like how happy the card turned out.  :)

Thanks for stopping by and thanks to all of you for the kind comments on my previous post.  All the Hero Arts Hostesses had a great time blog hopping. :)  I hope you're having a great weekend!

Hero Arts Hostess Blog Hop

Welcome to the Hero Arts Hostess Hop, featuring fabulous stamps from the new 2013 release!!

If you’ve been following along, you’ve just arrived from the ever so talented Jenn Biederman's blog!

Hero Arts will be awarding prizes from randomly drawn comments. For a chance to win, simply comment on ANY of the stops along the hop on ANY day, including each day’s starting post at the Hero Club Blog. The more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

If you find a broken link, you'll find a master list of the hop links at the Hero Club Blog. Also, please report broken links to Tami.

For my first card, I used the new Number Pattern cling background stamp and several colors from the mid-tone shadow inks on white cardstock. The greeting is from the new It's Your Day clear stamp set and the flower is from the Bold Pops Designs die and stamp set.

Supplies:
Number Pattern stamp
Mid-tone Inks
Bold Pop Designs
It's Your Day
Hero Hues Blush Pearls and Gems
Fact Basic Grey Paper

I then created another card, but this time, I heat embossed the new Number Pattern background in white and used different distress inks to give it color (Brushed Corduroy, Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint).  I also used one of the Stamp and Cut sets with a mid-tone ink for the greeting and finished it off with a flower and HA gems.

Supplies:
Number Pattern stamp
Distress Inks
Hero Hues Sea Mixed Accents Pearls and Gems

On the next card, I used the Love Jar clear stamp set. I LOVE the Love Jar! :)  I stamped it and shaded it with Copic markers and then stamped all the hearts using the Bubble Gum and Red Royal mid-tone inks. I decided to use the flower from the Bold Pop Designs set because it's one of my favorites.

After I cut out the jar, I went ahead and stamped the jar again (using StazOn ink) on the clear packaging from the stamp set. I then adhered the clear jar over the regular cardstock stamped jar to give it dimension and to make it look more like glass. The photo below shows this a little better.

Supplies:
Love Jar

Bold Pop Designs
Mid-tone Inks
Distress Markers
My Mind's Eye Fine and Dandy paper

Thanks so much for hopping with us today!  Your next stop on the Hero Arts Hostess Blog Hop is the amazing Donna Mikasa.

Thanks for Your Kindness

I created this thank you card for a good friend of mine. She bought me the What's Up paper pad for Christmas and I had to use some of the paper right away.  I used a circle punch to create the scalloped  border on the bottom of the card.  The stamp is one of the Hero Arts stamp and cut sets that were made exclusively for Archivers.

I love this paper pad!  Thanks Linda! You are too kind.  :)

Happy New Year and a Card

Hello friends!  Happy New Year!  I hope your 2013 is filled with happiness, good health and lots of laughter. :)

My hubby bought me the Hero Arts/Basic Grey Lauderdale stamp set for Christmas, along with some Copic markers and an Archivers gift card. Yippee!  I decided to put the stamp set to work with some of the Hero Arts mid-tone inks to create the flowers below. I also used the new Hero Arts, It's Your Day, clear stamp set for the greeting.  The owl is from a sticker set I found at Target. I love the pink and green together.

I think I'm going to hold on to this card and give it to my niece for her birthday in March since it has spring colors and flowers. Thanks for dropping by. I always appreciate your sweet comments and YOU!
