Happy Birthday flowers!

I made this card for a good friend of mine.  Her birthday is in February, but I think we are both longing for spring, so I made it bright and cheery!  I love this new background stamp from Hero Arts. I white embossed it and then colored it with Copic markers.

I love this color combination. How about you? What's your favorite color combo?

Moxie Fab Camera Craze Challenge

It's been a while since I've play along with a Moxie Fab challenge and I thought the Camera Craze challenge sounded like fun.  I found this adorable camera paper (from Amy Tangerine) and had to use it for a layout of my newest nephew who is also adorable and always smiling! :)  This picture was taken on Valentine's Day so I combined the camera paper with some heart patterned paper from Basic Grey. I also love that the cameras have hearts in the middle of them.

Isn't he one of the cutest babies you've ever seen?  Ok, I know, I'm a little biased.  :)  Anyway, if you haven't played along with the Camera Craze challenge yet, there's still time!

Simon Says White on White Challenge

I'm entering this card into the Simon Says Stamp White on White challenge.  I used the Cuttlebug embossing folder called Birds and Swirls and I also used Hero Arts stamps.

Have you played along with the challenge yet?  If not, there's still time. Go now and create!  :)

Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, today is Valentine's Day, so I guess it's fitting that I have a Valentine's Day card for my hubby.  I used the Bright Idea stamp set from Technique Tuesday along with the Radiant Banner background stamp from Hero Arts (it's one of my favs).  I also used the little wood veneer people from Studio Calico and I colored them with Copic markers.  I think it turned out kind of cute and hopefully my hubby will like it.

Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you have a great day! xoxo

More Valentines!

I'm still working on Valentine's Day cards for my nieces and nephews.  Here are a couple that I made a few days ago. I used the Doodlebug Lovebirds 6x6 paper pad. Love the lovebirds. :)  I also used lots of Hero Arts stamps and some Lawn Fawn stamps too.

I love the pool, pink, and red color combo.  So, tell me, are you making Valentine's day cards this year?

Sending Love Your Way

It's February, so you know what that means - it's time for Valentine's Day cards!  I saw a similar card design on the Archivers website and decided to case it. I love this Lawn Fawn You've Got Mail stamp set. The cloud is from a Hero Arts "stamp and cut" set that I picked up at Archivers several months ago. I made two slightly different versions of the same design.

Anyway, Happy February! I'm always glad when January is over. It's my least favorite month of the year, and now I know we are one more day closer to spring!  :)
