Bird on a Building Birthday

Ha, how's that for a quirky blog title?  :)  I created this card for my brother-in-law's birthday. I'm submitting it to the Hero Arts birthday challenge in the "rainbow of color" category. I used two of my older stamps that are some of my very favorites (the Silly Scape and the Radiant Banner). The green banner across the top is from a new set called For Your Kindness. The strip on the bottom of the card is washi tape and the bird is from a Lawn Fawn set.

Hope you're having a great start to the week! As always, thanks so much for stopping by. :)

Another Birthday Card

I made this birthday card for a good friend of mine and I'm going to enter it into the Hero Arts Birthday challenge for this month. I used the Hero Arts Dauber Bunch stamp set with different colored daubers on watercolor paper. I love how vibrant the colors turned out. I guess this would qualify for the "anything goes" category of the challenge.

Have you played along in the challenge yet? If not, go now....and create. :)

Happy Birthday to Ewe

Hi there!  I made this b-day card to participate in the Hero Arts birthday contest in the Anything Goes category. Have you played along yet?

I know I've said this before, but this OWH Missing You set is one of my favorite stamp sets from the 2014 catalog. I just think these sheep are adorable.  :)

On the inside of the card, I stamped "to EWE!"  :)

Thanks for dropping by. Hope you're having a great week!

Love U

It's February and it's brutal cold here! Brrrrr....  Anyway, I'm trying to take my mind off the weather and instead think about Valentine's Day! Here is one of the cards I made. I love this heart tree die cut from Taylored Expressions. It's adorable. I colored the tree trunk with Copic markers and then colored each heart with Sakura sparkle pens. I also used the sparkle pens on the words. I love the way it turned out. I'm going to enter it into the Simon Says Monday Challenge, Love Notes.

How about you? Are you making Valentine's Day cards this year? Hope to see you back here soon. :)
